Why Egyptian Cotton?
Not all cotton is equal. Giza cotton from Egypt's Nile valley grows in a unique microclimate: fertile soil, abundant sun and ample water. This produces extra-long fibres that are finer, smoother and stronger than standard cotton.
Extra-Long Staple (ELS) fibres measure at least 34 mm. They can be spun into fine threads without breaking, resulting in fabrics with a softness comparable only to silk — but with the breathability of cotton.

Jassin grew up between two cultures: his father from Cairo, his mother from Rotterdam. After studying Textile Science in Enschede he travelled to Egypt to find the source of that one unforgettable feeling.
